  Massive machines, well maintained and clean. Washers take cards but dryers don't. Dryers dry fast too so they must be clean and well ventilated. 10/10

  Open 24 hours. Plenty of washing machines and dryers for everyone. In case anyone wonders about pricing, I got you: Superwasher (8 loads) : $9.50 Large washer (4 loads) : $5.50 Medium Washer (3 loads) : $4.50 Small washer (2 loads): $3.50 They can fit in a lot more than you think! Large dryer: 0.25¢ for every 5 minutes Small dryer: 0.25¢ for every 7 minutes Washers can take card, but the dryers take coins only keep this in mind! Worse case scenario the cvs across the street does cashback. No worries. All the dryers and washers have settings for cold, warm, hot, and delicates. You have space for detergent, softener, and oxi. Excellent place, very clean and organized. There are even launder carts in case you brought your stuff in bags!

  They have Huge washer and dryers. I was able to wash two queen size comforter's in one machine. Its a good bit expensive in my opinion but it's quick. The place looked clean and well maintained. Will be going back to wash 5 more comforters this week.

  Been coming here for 4 years now. This is the best maintained laundromat that we have ever used. They keep it very clean and the staff works hard to do so, friendly and knowledgeable too. If you have a problem, they resolve it in a timely matter. They cannot help when people vandalize and dirty up the place between cleanings, but quickly clean it back beyond perfection.

  Wow!  New payment system, no more quarters!  You now go to a kiosk, get a "laundry card", load money on it with your credit card or cash, and use the laundry card to access each machine that you use.  If you are a regular, you use the same card next time.  So, so simple! And, new tables, lots of rolling baskets and chairs, clean, and very nice people running the place. Really good laundromat!

  My first time here! I have to say this is the nicest laundry mat I’ve ever seen so clean restrooms are clean and smells clean and everyone in here that was washing clothes too were so sweet and showing me the ins and outs of the large dryer and small dryer! This place is awesome I might come here still when my washer and dryer do get fixed 😂 just to get out of the house to do my chores

  I had a great time at Jefferson Wash House & it was my first time at this location. I was there from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. I had an easy & quick experience with the machines. All machines use quarters, which I didn't realize until I got there. So as a friend tip to others who only have a card, I had to pull out cash at the ATM at the Piggly Wiggly. They had a bill to quarter the ATM. Overall I see myself coming back! Had an amazing easy & quick laundry day!

  Update- they have sent me a refund. Thank you I was washing clothes Friday night when I went out for just a moment and stopped watching my clothes for two minutes. When I go back in, I notice this lady just allowing her child to run around and mess with the washer handles. I look at my washer, and my clothes had stopped washing and was blinking an F 22 code, and I couldn't get it to start washing again no matter what I did. I looked up the error code, and it seems the only way to fix it was to turn off and on the machine. I tried calling and texting the phone number posted on a sign for help, but received no answer. So, I had lost the $5 I spent on the wash and had to just take my clothes that were still soaked with water and detergent and leave since I hadn't brought more money. Not a good experience at all that a machine can just error and stop working.

  The machines are very efficient. I can do a load in lless than an hour and at a reasonable cost. At other places the dryers take twice as long. The facility is well maintained and comfortable. I live on the opposite side of town so I pass severall laundry facilites to do my wash here. I highly recommend this place.

  This is the best wash house in Athens! Always clean and has employees that are so kind and willing to do anything for you! Although she’s short in stature Jamie is above the rest with her sweet spirit!!! She’s went the extra mile for my husband and I a many a time. I’ve witnessed her stay with someone after the doors were locked so that they had a safe place to wait.

  I do my laundry there all the time. It's open 24/7 but the restrooms are only open during the day. I don't agree on this but I can understand why they close them after hours. One night while washing my clothes  a  homeless man came in  and  after a few minutes the police came in and gave him a "no trespass" warning. I know why they have them closed at night.   Love it!! Clean. Plenty of folding tables and carts with racks to hang and transport my clothes. Ample selection of various sizes of machines. Clean restrooms. Several places to sit and even some tables. Both times I was there, the owner or an employee stopped by. That gives me a sense of security.  Last time I went, I left my hamper there. I came by the next day, and it was still there! It is a nice hamper, and I was expecting it to have been taken overnight. Nope -- it was not stolen.

  Great place to do Laundry! Attendants are nice and helpful. The machines and dryers are always in working order. There are plenty even during busy times. Multiple different washer size options. The large dryers are amazing! You can use cash or card. Change machines are always working as well! Over all a great experience every time I come here.   A very nice and clean facility with a convenient location, pizza next door, Chinese food a couple of doors down  and Waffle House in front, machines are pricey m, but, I'll gladly pay a little more for better and clean, I highly recommend anyone to come here,  I would definitely return again next time I'm in town

  GREAT Laundromat!!! Friendly staff keeps it VERY clean. Nice clientele, and it always has washers and dryers available. Only 3.75 per load and clothes are usually dry for only $1.00.

  My first time visiting this coin laundry was last week due to my washing machine's drain pump going out. I run a small cleaning business, and will sometimes frequent the Commerce area. The day I decided to take a few larger loads by to wash in their extra large machines, and added my money, both machines malfunctioned at the same time. A few minutes went by, and the machines reset, and didn't return my money.  Initially of course, I was a bit perturbed. I called the number that's displayed on their signs, and left a message for the owners, as well as reached out to them through their website. I'm happy to report that the owner(s) are quite responsive to any problems that occur with the malfunctioning of their machines. I appreciate their integrity and professionalism. On a side note, I was very impressed with the overall quality of their washers and dryers, and the cleanliness of their facility.

  My favorite laundry mat. Just remember you can put other people’s clothes that are done in a rolling cart if they aren’t there or you can’t find them and the clothes have been sitting a while. The owner told me that’s what we should do. Watch out for the lady with blue hair and mismatched clothes. She is a germaphobe. She flipped out when I put her clothes in a cart even though I couldn’t find the owner of the clothes and asked around first. Turns out during the hour I was there, she washed her hands repeatedly, she dropped clothes on the floor and wouldn’t put them in a dryer. She packed them all in huge trash bags and left with them. She said, “you touched my clothes?” “Those are my kids clothes and now I have to rewash them.” Even though she dropped them all over the floor and wouldn’t dry them. She had multiple trash bags of unwashed items in her machine when I unloaded it. Pet stuff. Dirty shoes and socks all thrown in without being removed from the bag. She then called the police. They did nothing. She asked me if I was mentally ill. I said, “excuse me I am not the one yelling with blue hair so you tell me?” Anyhow, she was there late on an evening night. Freaks come out at night. My advice is go in the daytime when it’s least busy and avoid the freaks. Also, the OWNER makes the rules. I did the right thing but some people are never happy and are too OCD to use a public laundry mat. Aside from that, it’s nice and clean and well kept. I am grateful for this place!

  I visited the East Side location and was very happy with machine availability, cleanliness and convenience of the carts, television, vending machines and a clean functioning bathroom. The only thing you gotta be aware of going here is the wash will take card and quarters and the dryer only takes quarters. I was told his other locations are already dual equipped washer and dryers and that he is working on getting the dryers here to accept both. Other than that , you should wash your laundry here whenever you want as they are 24 hours. Thanks again for the hospitality and Convo I had with the gentleman on duty when I was there. Now I can head home to Boston.

  Clean and easy to find! Love this laundry mat. We enjoy the food next to it while waiting.Please hang a sign telling people that if they leave their laundry unattended, customers reserve the right to take it out and put it in a rolling cart as you, the owner, previously told me. This will help avoid a lot of problems with people who consistently leave and get upset to find their laundry has been taken out of a machine. It’s always a clean nice place and I don’t go anywhere else. Thanks for making it a great experience. Highly recommended!

  Laundromat is great place to wash/dry your clothes now that is has been totally renovated. Bright, clean, nice folding tables,clean wash buggies to put clothes in when removing from washers. Air conditioning that actually works and cools the place. Nice, clean restroom and arranged better.  2 TV's installed but that's not a plus for me in a laundromat. Don't have TV at home don't need it at wash/dry. Snack/drink machines available. Wash products machine available. Great handicap access at the back of the laundromat. Needs some repairs at front door access for people walking in (not in wheelchair) very uneven and too much step down for older customers. Money changer nicely placed and convenient. All new dryers and washers (working!). Comfortable seating for customers while waiting but the sun is a terrible glare and "hot" even with the air conditioner trying to cool the building.  Overall this is a very nice place to  do your laundry. Hope customers will help keep it clean and put their trash in the containers provided instead of throwing it on the floor. I was a customer there just this morning. Appreciate what the new owner has done - Jefferson needed this! Thank you!

  Easy to use! Not as busy due to it being self-service, but I find I like that. It’s easier to do it yourself and being more careful with your car than a harsh car wash. I’m glad to have used this! The laundromat next to it is so easy to access due to it being so close! thank goodness for this duo.

  One of the better laundromats. It doesn't look like much, but it's clean, well maintained, has a ton of machines, free wifi, and has MUCH more seating than other places. I actually drive past a couple of other laundromats to get to it! Bonus, they added swipes to most of the machines so you don't need to carry a pocket full of quarters.

  24hrs, what more can you ask for. Of course it needs a little more upkeep and remodeling but it’s nice for what it is. Only time I have is to go around 11pm and I have to thank this person for keeping their business open all hours of the day!   Even if it’s not my job, I try to make sure to clean it up a bit. I know having 24hr maintenance is hard and expensive.

  The belt on my dryer broke so I went to Eastside Coin Laundry yesterday and today to dry clothes and towels. Eastside Coin is clean and there are plenty of dryers to use. An attendant was on duty and overall going there was a good experience. I hope that my dryer gets repaired soon but good to know I have a safe and clean laundromat nearby.

  I’m here usually once a week, I usually only dry my clothes here ( I wash at home). When I visit it’s either very early in the morning or after midnight. I have never had any issues. Randomly there will be a dryer or so that is out of service, but that usually doesn’t effect anyone there!! Pretty good place to go!!

  Clean facility and machines. Owners are fair, and help out if you have any problems. Only advice I have is add money for extra (wash/rinse) time ONLY when the machine askes for it. Otherwise, the machine will take your money and not add the time. BtW, it's a great place to wash blankets.

  I really enjoy going to the  commerce  wash house. Its always  clean   and the people that work there are real nice and helpful    and the other customers that have been there when I go to wash has always been nice and polite. The washers wash ur clothes  Express  dryers  also.  All washers are big.  The small one u can put 2 loads in at a time. (Conpared to most washers in people's homes)   they have 3 sizes.  They're all big. It's a nice place to wash ur clothes.

  Plenty of washers of various sizes. This would be a great place to wash big, bulky bedding. I stopped here to do laundry before my flight home. Machines and building were clean. It is open 24 hrs, that's nice. I gave it four stars because only the washers have the option to use a credit card, the dryers are coin-only, a minor inconvenience.

  Most of the positive reviews are right about this place. It's a very tidy, clean, well-run laundromat. Even the bathroom is spotless, which is pretty amazing. The machines are newer, well-maintained, and work perfectly. But some of the negative comments are accurate too. 1) The washers are adjusted so your clothes come out very soggy when the cycle ends, so then you have to buy more dryer time to get them dry. I don't like getting scammed, and I think it's environmentally irresponsible too. I'm sure spinning is the more energy efficient way to get most of that water out. The owner probably does it to reduce maintenance costs for the washers (motors and bearings wear out faster when used harder)-- but that dumps more cost on me, as dryer time. 2) Considering how upscale this side of town is, this strip mall and everything around it is a real shocker. Reminds me of the Piggly Wiggly strip mall on North Ave. Fook Foods is the only store on this end that isn't dumpy and sketchy that way. Several reviews mention low-lifes hustling for change here. All too likely. The worst I saw was sullen "urban" attitudes. 24 hours? No way I'd come here by myself at 3 A.M.

  I was there today 11/20/22 around 1p-3p with A LOT of laundry. I was greeted by a very nice woman with a head wrap, wearing red I believe. She helped me carry it in and was generally so pleasant and obviously very hard working. Before I left, I looked around to tell her thanks again and get her name, but she was eating and I didn’t want to disturb her. People like her make a tedious, exhausting laundry day so much better!

  Great place to wash and dry your clothes. The customers were nice and helpful, since I was just passing through town and had never been to that laundromat before. The only reason I gave it four stars was because there was a woman outside that kept harassing me, wanting money for food and to use my phone. That should be addressed by management. I was not the only one at the laundromat to feel this way. But overall, great place and clean.

  This is a great place to do laundry.  The customer service is excellent!! The attendant is very responsive.  I actually met one of the owners today when I was there. He was very helpful, caring and friendly.  If you have to do laundry,  this is a great place to go. Tuesday and Thursdays seems to be the less busy time.

  Clean, good machines, fast, and coin and card available. I just wanted to warn people of the night time. A few times I have seen sketchy looking people not doing laundry walking in at night and just looking around or using the tables. I was definitely the only person with any laundry in any of the washers or driers at the time. There is plenty of cameras and lighting, but I wouldn't go alone or leave any important laundry unattended just in case.

  The place was nice and clean. There were only a couple of machines that were down. I needed to run quilts and weighted blankets and they washed and dried well. They have large machines. There is not an attendant on site. I have no complaints.

  If I am not mistaken, Eastside is the ONLY  laundromat in Athens that has debit card readers! On both washers and dryers when I came here today. Excellent price and space. Staff does a great job keeping the place clean. If you don't want to waste time finding physical coins, come to Eastside!

  I came down from Hartwell to find this laundromat.  Old fella cleaning the place the whole time I was there. Clean machines and fast. Places to sit, lots of baskets and tables. Wash your clothes here.

  I have been looking for a place to wash and dry my comforters. Looked up this place and from the pictures is was clean. I get here and it looked just like the pictures. Really clean and nice. I will be back here to wash my comforters.

  Needed a dryer as mine broke down. I looked up best laundromats in the Athens area and came across a great review for Athen’s Wash House. It sounded positive so I went. It was clean, dried most of the laundry with 2 quarters a load. The better time imo would be morning to mid afternoon. Some ppl milling around that weren’t doing clothes.

  (Edited Review) went back to Eastside coin laundry and my second experience was more pleasant than my first one. The place was very clean, and the machines work great. What's good about this place is they take debit cards. Would highly recommend. If the machine takes your money just contact the business and they'll refund you

  Just your typical laundromat. I have to do laundry on Monday or Tuesday afternoons, so it's not as busy those times. I'm able to get in and out as quick as possible
